Kannada film Pailwaan, starring Kiccha Sudeep, is one of the most expected films of the year. It is well known that the star gives his all when it comes to his acting assignments and for Phailwaan too he has undergone rigorous martial arts training to play the role of a wrestler.

It may be mentioned here that a video has been released on the making of Pailwaan and it has caught the attention of the movie buffs massively. In the video, there are clippings that show the efforts the star had put in to transform himself into a professional wrestler.

According to reports, the Telugu rights of this biggie has been bagged by Sai Korrapati’s Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram and has been titled Pahalwan. Sources in the know say that Pahalwan will hit the marquee on August 29th. 

Directed by S Krishna, Pailwaan marks his collaboration with Sudeep for the second time after the massive success of Hebbuli in 2017. Pailwaan is being bankrolled by Krishna’s wife Swapna under their banner and it is their maiden production venture.

Arjun Janya has been roped in to compose the tunes for Pailwaan while Karunakar will be cranking the camera. The film has Bollywood star Suneil Shetty in a pivotal role with Sushant Singh and Kabir Duhan Singh also included to the star cast. Reports are that plans are on to release Pailwaan in multiple Indian languages.

Reports are that the filmmakers will soon be sealing the deal with the distributors in Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi film industries and the production house targeting approximately 2,500 screens worldwide. Sources in the know say that three production houses are in the fray to bag the Hindi theatrical rights of this film and an official word would be out once the deal is struck.
