The News Minute| October 26, 2014| 4.00 pm  ISTThiruvanthapuram district collector who is in charge of Kerala Council for Child Welfare has handed over anti sand mining crusader from Kerala V Jazeera's eight-day-old baby back to her, with a warning that she is to never again stage a protest with the infant.Jazeera, a lone campaigner who has been protesting against the sand mafia in coastal Kerala for two years, had reappeared in front of the Secretariat to continue her agitation few days ago with her 5 day old daughter.The police who took away Jazeera's baby had handed over the child over to the Kerala State Council for Child Welfare.Jazeera and her husband, Abdul Salam had given a petition to the collector asking him to handover the baby back to them.
