Ever wondered how long you have left to live? Well, obviously you have. Â
So stand up, and then sit down while crossing your legs. That’s about it.
According to physicians in the Gama Filho University in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, the ‘sitting-rising test’ or SRT, which was first used to determine muscle strength of athletes, can determine how long you live.
The test, according to physicians is easy and clearly, without a lot of fuss, mortality is determined.Â
A study published in the European Journal of Cardiology in 2002 had results for adults between the ages of 51 and 80. Those scoring less than 8 out of 10 in the test were considered twice as likely to die in the next six years as opposed to those who scored the perfect ten.
A point is deducted for using your hands or knees and half a point for losing balance.
