After his super duper hit Baahubali, the whole country is waiting for director SS Rajamouli’s next movie. He recently announced that his next film would be with big stars such as Ram Charan and Jr NTR. Tentatively titled RRR (for Rajamouli, Ram Charan and Rama Rao), reports from Tollywood indicate that the director will be adding one more R to it.

The shooting of the film is expected to begin in August this year. It has been reported that the director wants to take adequate time to shoot. Though the shooting of Baahubali 1 and 2 went on for five years, the director plans to complete shooting his next film within one and half years.

Sources further report that this film will be stylish. Ram Charan will play the role of a cop in the film, which will have similarities to James Bond films. This film will be much like his other films and will be made at a high budget.

Before this film goes on the floors, Jr NTR will be wrapping up the Trivikram Srinivas directorial, while Ram Charan will be done with the Boyapati Srinu film.

On working with SS Rajamouli for the second time, Ram Charan had reportedly said in an interview that when the director approached him for the role, he did not think twice and immediately agreed to be a part of the project without even listening to the script. Well, that is the level of confidence he has on SS Rajamouli. It is well-known that the director’s last outing, the Baahubali franchise, was a massive hit and broke all box office records.

Rajamouli’s next is being bankrolled by producer DVV Dhanayya under his banner DVV Entertainments. Recently, Danayya confirmed that it would be a mega project made on a budget of Rs 300 crore. While there is still no news on who would be playing the female leads in this project, reports suggest that Samantha Akkineni may go on to bag a role.
