The Telugu Desam Party's 'Mahanadu', which is set to begin at Tirupati on Friday, has reportedly special attention to 'Vastu'.

According to a report in The Hindu:

Mr. Naidu will enter the venue through the north-east entrance of the venue developed specially for the purpose...All the way, he will walk through the north-east corner before getting on to the dais. Party leaders in charge of the venue termed the arrangement as ‘nothing big’, as it is for the sake of convenience and security. A leader admitted that the “party follows local customs and traditions in vogue”.

This will the fourth time the party is holding the event in Tirupati — a tradition started by party founder N T Rama Rao in 1982.

"Besides political issues, we will discuss development and welfare programmes that are being implemented in Andhra Pradesh where the party is in power. We will also discuss steps to strengthen the party in AP and Telangana," TDP politburo member and AP unit president K Kala Venkata Rao had earlier told reporters.
