SJ Suryah starrer Uyarndha Manidhan will be made in Tamil as well as Hindi. According to latest reports, the title for the Hindi version will be Tera Yaar Hoon Mein. Earlier there were reports that the Hindi version has been titled The Great Man but now the new title in Hindi has been confirmed. With Amitabh Bachchan agreeing to star in Uyarndha Manithan, it will mark his debut in the Tamil film industry.
On coming to know that the title Uyarndha Manidhan is derived from the hit Ganesan-starrer and also indicates his height, Amitabh Bachchan wrote on Twitter, “Two disciples under the shadow of the MASTER – Shivaji Ganesan.. Surya and self! Shivaji the Ultimate Iconic Legend of Tamil Cinema.. his picture adorns the wall.. my respect and admiration, I touch his feet!” He also wrote in Tamil, “அவர் மாஸ்டர் .. நாம் அவருடைய சீடர்கள்.”

The film is in the making right now and Amitabh’s son Abhishek Bachchan had visited the sets a few days ago. Pictures of the Bollywood actor with SJ Suryah and team have gone viral since then. The film is being directed by Thamizhvannan of Kalvanin Kadhali fame and it’s first look poster was unveiled by the Superstar Rajinikanth.
Recently, Ramya Krishnan was roped in to share the screen space with Amitabh Bachchan in this film. Interestingly, the actors worked together in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan in 1998. Previously, it was widely speculated that Jyotika might be roped in to play the female lead in the film. Refuting the rumors Suryah himself tweeted saying, “hi , it a false news …. pls don’t spread such fake news …. thx … Sjs”.
The two had previously collaborated in 2000 when the SJ Suryah directed Vijay, Jyothika-starrer Kushi which went on to become a huge hit. Incidentally, Big B is currently associated with the Telugu movie Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy in which he shares the screen space with the megastar Chiranjeevi.
