The worldâ€™s second-longest high-speed rail corridor is to be built between Delhi and Chennai with trains running at speeds of 300 km/hour covering the distance in six hours, reported Hindustan Times. . Likely to cost about Rs. 2 lakh crore, it will be jointly developed with Chinese counterparts, said the report.Â This is another project part of PM Modiâ€™s plan to build a network of trains running between the major metros of India.Â Previously, plans to construct a high-speed rail project between Mumbai and Ahmedabad were announced.
