Actor Sivakarthikeyan has quite a few projects in his kitty this year.

He is busy with the Ponram directorial Seema Raja, which is getting ready for release for Ganesh Chathurthi this year. The Siva-Ponram duo have a good track record at the box office with their previous outings – Varuthapadatha Vaalibar Sangam and Rajini Murugan – doing very well.

And now, Siva has completed shooting for Seema Raja, which has Samantha Akkineni as his heroine, and the film has gone into the post production stage.

Following this, the star has moved on to his next film. The official pooja of Siva’s 13th film, which has not been titled yet happened recently, confirm sources. Referred as SK 13 for now, it is touted to be a rom com that will have Nayanthara playing the female lead. M Rajesh, well known for directing romantic comedies, will be wielding the megaphone for this venture with KE Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green bankrolling it. Sathish will be Siva’s sidekick in the film.

Besides SK 13, Siva has also inked the deal to star in SK 14. This project is being helmed by Ravi Kumar and it will be a sci fi thriller. Rakul Preet Singh has been roped in to play his female lead in this project. Touted to be a big budget film, Oscar winning music composer AR Rahman is already on board. The star cast also has Yogi Babu, Kothandam and Karunakaran playing supporting roles.

Nayanthara too has a slew of films, She is currently shooting for Chiranjeevi’s Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy and Ajith’s Viswasam. She is also awaiting the release of her film Kolamavu Kokila.

It’s worth mentioning that Rajesh had confirmed recently that a sequel to Aramm is in the offing. Reports emerged that Aramm 2 will start rolling from September. Gopi Nainar, who directed Aramm, will also direct its sequel which will reportedly feature Nayanthara in the role of a politician.
