Shraddha Srinath’s debut movie in Bollywood is all set for release on March 15. The film, titled Milan Talkies, is directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia, who had won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film for Paan Singh Tomar in 2013. PS Chhatwal is bankrolling this project under the Filmy Keeda Productions banner. Sharing screen space with Shraddha in this flick is Ali Fazal as the hero. The others in the star cast include Ashutosh Rana, Sikander Kher, Sanjay Mishra and Reecha Sinha. Shraddha is elated over her Bollywood debut and is looking forward to the release, which is touted to be a small town love story.

Shraddha Srinath made her acting debut with the Malayalam movie Kohinoor in 2015 but it was the Kannada film U Turn that catapulted her to star status. Offers have been pouring in from different film industries since then. She had won the Filmfare Award for Best Actress – Kannada and SIIMA Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role (Female) – Kannada for her performance in this Pawan Kumar directorial. Shraddha then made her debut in the Tamil film industry with Kaatru Veliyidai, a Mani Ratnam directorial.

Shraddha currently has a slew of films in her kitty in Kannada, Tamil and Telugu. In Kannada, she is working on Godhra directed by KS Nandeesh in which she stars opposite Sathish Ninasam, and the Shiva Rajkumar starrer Rustum which is directed by Ravi Varma. In Tamil, she has K-13, which is a Barath Neelakantan directorial in which she acts alongside Arulnithi. All these films are in the post production stage. In Telugu her next release will be Jersey, in which she shares screen space with Nani. This film is scheduled for an April release. Shraddha has also inked a deal to star in a Tamil film that will be the remake of the Hindi blockbuster Pink. She will get to team up with Ajith in this remake.
