Ever since director Krish took over the reins of the NTR biopic from Teja, there have been a lot of speculations about the project. For one, there were reports that that the biopic is aimed at all NTR critics and its dialogues will be such that to silence them once and for all. However, sources close to the film unit say that there is no truth is such reports. Being N Balakrishna’s dream project, the star, who also happens to be NT Rama Rao’s son, he wants the biopic to be appealing to all sections of the audiences. Incidentally, Balakrishna is not only the lead actor in the biopic playing his legendary father, the star and politician, who went on to become the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh but also the co-producer who will be bankrolling it along with Vishnu Induri and Sai Korraputi.

According to reports doing rounds, there are strict instructions from Balayya to the writers to ensure that the biopic does not hurt anyone and also to show some of the unknown aspects in NTRs life which his fans are not aware of.

Directed by Krish, a lot of research has gone into the project. The shooting of this film is likely to begin soon and it is expected to hit the silver screens during the first half of 2019. According to reports, Bollywood actor Vidya Balan is likely to be roped in to play NTR’s wife Basavatharakam in the biopic and there is a talk that Rana Daggubati will be seen as NTR’s son-in-law and the current chief minister of Andhra, N Chandra Babu Naidu.

According to reports, the biopic will begin with NTR’s days as a government office employee and how he entered into films and then went on to become the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh.
