Movie buffs are waiting eagerly for more news on the mega star Chiranjeevi’s film with director Koratala Siva. While it was speculated that the shooting would commence soon after Chiru is done with Sye Raa, we hear that there may be some delay. Apparently, Koratala Siva has requested Chiru to shed some weight as the character he has etched out for him so demands.

With Koratala Siva working on the script, fans should be excited as he will be teaming up with the mega star for the first time. We hear that the script is being drawn up keeping in mind the star’s image. The film will be bankrolled jointly by Ram Charan under his banner Konidela Production Company in association with Matinee Entertainment.

We hear that the official pooja of this film will be held soon but the shooting will commence in September so that the star has ample time to shed some weight. Reports are that the shooting for this film may begin without its lead star and the director may proceed with shooting the scenes that does not require his presence.

Meanwhile, on the progress of Chiru’s Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, we hear that shooting is in the last leg and the post-production will begin soon. Sye Raa is being bankrolled by Ram Charan Teja under his home banner Konidela Production Company on a budget of Rs 200 crore. 

It has a bevy of stars from different film industries including Amitabh Bachchan who will be seen making a guest appearance as Gosayi Venkanna. The others in the star cast are Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Tamannaah, Jagapathi Babu, Kiccha Sudeep, Pragya Jaiswal and Brahmaji. R. Rathnavelu is the cameraman for this film, with A Sreekar Prasad editing it and Amit Trivedi wielding the music baton. It is a trilingual that will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. It is likely to hit the marquee for Dusshera this year.
