Here is one more good news for all Shiva Rajkumar fans out there. The star has signed the deal to star in a new film and it has been titled Harihara. Touted to be one of the busiest stars in the Kannada film industry, Shiva Rajkumar acts in at least five films per year. Coming back to his upcoming project Harihara, it is learned that the film will be directed by Pramod Chakravarthy and bankrolled by Mahadev B, Seshu Chakravarthy and Sangappa B.

Revealing about the film, its director Pramod said that it is being planned as a complete commercial entertainer loaded with family values and sentiments. While the entertainment quotient would be high, Harihara will have just two songs, said its director. He added that Shiva Rajkumar’s character will have two different shades and his fans are simply going to love him in action.

Shiva Rajkumar made his debut in Sandalwood with Sri Srinivasa Kalyana in 1974 and made his debut as hero with the Singeetam Srinivasa Rao directorial Anand in 1986. He has acted in a number of films in his long career and has won several awards including the Filmfare Awards South seven times, South Indian International Movie Awards and a host of other awards.

His releases this year are Bangara s/o Bangarada Manushya, Mass Leader and Tagaru, The Villain and Mufti.

While Tagaru is directed by Duniya Soori and is slated for release next month, in The Villain, Shiva Rajkumar will be seen sharing the screen space with Kiccha Sudeep for the first time.

More details about Harihara, including its star cast and crew will be revealed soon and the shooting would commence early next year; most probably during the month of February.
