Shekhar Kammula to team up with Naga Chaitanya for his next?

Director Shekhar Kammula, who has directed several hit movies in his career like Anand, Happy Days and Fidaa, is soon to make a film with Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi. Reports are that the director had narrated a story to Naga Chaitanya and is yet to get his approval. Official announcement about the film will be made soon.

Meanwhile, Naga Chaitanya will be wrapping up Venky Mama in which he shares the screen space with Venkatesh. The film is bankrolled by D Suresh under his banner Suresh Productions on a very big budget with Bobby aka KS Ravindra wielding the megaphone. The female leads in Venky Mama are Raashi Khanna and Payal Rajput. S. Thaman is composing the tunes for this flick with Prasad Murella cranking the camera and Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao editing it. The shooting of this film began in February this year and will hit the marquee later this year.

While Venky Mama is still under production, Naga Chaitanya has been roped in to star in a film that will be bankrolled by the veteran producer Dil Raju. Reports are that a newbie director will be wielding the megaphone for this venture and that Kajal Aggarwal has been roped in to share the screen space with Naga Chaitanya. It needs to be known if the Shekar Kammula project or Dil Raju will commence first.

It may be noted here that Shekar Kammula had introduced Sai Pallavi to the Telugu audiences with the smash hit film Fidaa. It had Varun Tej as the hero. The film is bankrolled by Dil Raju under his banner Sri Venkateswara Creations. Music for the movie has been composed by Shakthi Kanth while Vijay C. Kumar cranked the camera.
