Director Sudheer Varma’s upcoming film is titled Ranarangam. The film has Sharwanand, Kajal Aggarwal and Kalyani Priyadarshan in the lead roles. The teaser of this movie was released recently and is going viral among netizens. Putting out the teaser on the social media, director Sudheer Varma and Sharwanand wrote, “For some he was a criminal, to the rest a HERO. This August, let's go back to the 90's and witness the glory of this man! #RanarangamTeaser!!”

Ranarangam is bankrolled by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under the banner Sithara Entertainments. Sharwanand and Kajal completed a schedule in Spain some weeks ago and another major portion of the film was canned in Andhra and Telangana regions.
Confirming the end of the Spain schedule, actor Adarsh Balakrishna, who plays an important role, had tweeted, “And that's a wrap on the Spanish schedule of my film with #sharwanand @sudheerkvarma @divakar. mani Such an amazing team! Onto new territory now. Stay tuned for some exciting, smashing updates!"
Those in the supporting roles also include Atul Kulkarni, Subbaraju, Brahmaji, Devayani, Arun Vijay, Madhav Vaze and Rajiv Kanakala.
It may be noted here that some stills from the film were leaked online creating quite a stir a few months ago. Sharwanand was seen sporting a beard and reports are that it is just one of his looks in the film. The star is playing double roles in this movie. The technical crew includes Divakar Mani for cinematography, Prashanth Pillai for music and Navin Nooli for editing. The shooting of this film has been wrapped up and has gone into the post production mode.
