Malayalam actor Sidhu R Pillai, who rose to popularity with his role in the film Second Show' passed away on Monday.
According to one report, Sidhu drowned to death in a beach in Goa. However, there is no confirmation of this.
He was 27 years old. Reports state that Sidhu's mother identified his body late on Monday evening. His last rites will be conducted at their residence in Thrissur.
Sidhu is believed to have reached Goa on January 12.
Sidhu was the son of prominent Malayalam cinema producer PKR Pillai.

Sidhu made his debut in in the 2012 Malayalam action crime film Second Show, which starred Dulquer Salmaan in the lead. The film was directed by Srinath Rajendran and written by Vini Vishwa Lal.
Since then, Sidhu has gone on to act in a number of short films.
Condoling Sidhu's death, actor Dulquer Salmaan took to Twitter to say that he was "an excited and vivacious youngster" during the shoot of Second Show.
