The second schedule of SS Rajamouli directorial RRR, starring Jr NTR and Ram Charan, kicked off on Monday. The film was announced last year and the shooting commenced in December with the team filming an action-block. After a month long break, Rajamouli is back resuming work with his team. During the schedule the team will film some crucial scenes in specially erected sets and both Jr.NTR and Charan will shoot for the sequences.

Announcing the second schedule, RRR producers DVV Entertainments took to social media and wrote, “Back on the sets! The second schedule starts, today. #RRR @tarak9999 #RamCharan @ssrajamouli @dvvmovies@rrrmovie.”

Cinematographer KK Senthil Kumar took to Twitter and shared an interesting tidbit about the film,“One of the first films in India to be shot on Arri Alexa LF and Arri Signature Prime Lens. Starting our second schedule today,” Senthil Kumar wrote on Twitter. This will assist in bringing photo-realism to the VFX, that the director wanted to bring to his movies like Magadheera, Eega and Baahubali series.

Meantime, Rajamouli is now scouting female leads for his big budget entertainer. Several top heroines are in fray to play the female lead in RRR but there is no official announcement regarding it yet. If sources are anything to go by, Rajamouli will be finalising the names in a few days and will make an official announcement.

RRR stars two of Tollywood’s top stars Ram Charan Teja and Jr. NTR in the lead roles. While Jr NTR will be sporting a bulky look with beard, Ram Charan will be seen with a completely different new hairstyle. A top hairstylist has been brought in to work on it. This definitely has the fans thrilled.

Recently, there were reports that the Bollywood star Ajay Devgn is in talks to play the baddie in RRR. Another buzz is that Kannada star Yash has been approached for the role as well. However, Yash has put an end to this as mere rumours. He has said that Rajamouli or none from his team had ever approached him for the role. There are reports that the makers have roped in actor – filmmaker Samuthirakani for a pivotal role in the film.
