When Malayalam film actor Jayasurya received a call from superstar Mohanlal saying that he wanted Jayasurya’s designer wife Saritha to design some kurtas for him, Saritha jumped at the opportunity. Saritha’s designs had caught the superstar’s eyes, when Jayasurya wore kurtas designed by his wife for his film Fukri.
Saritha is well know for the outfits she designed for her husbands in films such as Punyalan Agarbathis, Fukri, Su Su Sudhi Valmeekam, and Pretham. Saritha not only designed a few kurtas to suit Mohanlal, but she along with her husband went on to personally deliver the freshly tailored kurtas to the actor.
To Sairtha’s delight, the superstar wasted no time in trying out every kurta, said Jayasurya.
Posting about the whole incident on a social networking site, Jayasurya wrote, “As Lal tried each one, Saritha looked thrilled. As we bade goodbye, Saritha said, 'This is the biggest recognition a designer like me can get'.”
Mohanlal’s upcoming film, Villain is a crime thriller that is being directed by B Unni Krishnan. The film is produced by Venkatesh under his banner Rockline Entertainments Pvt Ltd.
The high budget film, which will be India’s first 8K resolution movie, will mark the entry of Hansika, Vishal and Raashi Khanna into the Malayalam film industry. Others in the star cast include Renji Panicker, Hansika Motwani, Srikanth, Siddique, Aju Varghese, Chemban Vinod Jose, Vinayakan and Anand.
The songs for Villain is being composed by 4 Musics, while the music score is by Sushin Shyam. Manoja Pramahamsa and NK Ekambaram are cranking the camera for this flick while Shameer Mohammad will be editing. Reports are that Villain is scheduled to release on July 21st.
