Premam girl, Sai Pallavi is on a roll with a string of projects lined up for her. While she is looking forward to the release of the Dhanush starrer Maari 2 in a few days, reports are that she has inked a new deal. Sai Pallavi will next be seen in a Telugu flick that will be directed by Venu Udugala. Sources in the know say that she has a meaty role in the film and it is completely performance oriented. Reportedly, she will be playing a Naxalite in love with a cop. Rana Daggubati has been roped in as the male lead and he will be seen as a police officer. The film, titled Virata Parvam 1992, will be set in the 1990s.
Earlier, there were reports that Nitin and later Sharwanand were in talks to play the lead role in it, but eventually the role went to the Baahubali star Rana Daggubati. According to reports, Virata Parvam 1992 will be a romantic film, but will also have a lot of action and politics included to make the narration interesting. The shooting of this film is expected to begin soon.
