Sai Dharam Tej has three films lined up and the shooting for one of them is all set to begin soon. To be directed by Kishore Tirumala, the film will be bankrolled by the popular production house Mythrie Movie Makers.
While Sai Dharam Tej will be playing the main lead in the film titled Chitralahari — Bar and Restaurant, it will have two female leads sharing screen space with him. Reports say that Ritika Singh of Guru fame and Kalyani Priyadarshan, who made her acting debut with the Akhil Akkineni starrer Hello last year, will be playing the female leads.
Reports also say that both the heroines will be given equal importance in Chitralahari — Bar and Restaurant and will have adequate scope for performance. Director Kishore Tirumala made his debut with the Tamil film Pillaiyar Theru Kadeisi Veedu and went on to direct the Telugu movie Second Hand. However, he rose to prominence with his second Telugu film, Nenu Sailaja which was a big hit. Released in 2016, the film starred Ram Pothineni and Keerthy Suresh as the lead pair.
His last film release was Vunnadi Okate Zindagi, which was out at the theatres last year. This film again had Ram Pothineni in the lead role with Anupama Parameswaran and Lavanya Tripathi as heroines.
Sai Dharam Tej’s first film was Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitam, which was a 2014 release The film was a hit and he went on to act in a number of films, of which Subramanyam For Sale and Supreme became huge hits. He has Tej I Love You lined up for release next. The film is directed by A. Karunakaran. Besides this film, Sai Dharam Tej has two other projects – one to be directed by Chandra Sekhar Yeleti and the other by Gopichand Mallineni.
