The Prabhas starrer Saaho is fast progressing despite some delay in the project taking off. Directed by Sujeeth of Run Raja Run fame, Saaho is touted to be a sci-fi thriller. The team recently wrapped 50 days of filming in Abu Dhabi.

In this schedule with more than 250 crew members, a whopping Rs 90 crore has been spent on the action sequence of a major action sequence – under the supervision of international stunt choreographer Kenny Bates. Saaho will be the second longest Indian movie to be produced in Abu Dhabi after Tiger Zinda Hai last year.

In an interview to Gulfnews Prabhas said, "Soon after wrapping Sahoo, I will be moving to my next, which will start rolling in June, which will be a  pure love story that is likely to be shot in Europe."

Talking about the film, he said, "All the characters in this film have an important role to play. The story is bigger than any of us and we are connected in different ways. Each character doesn’t just come and go, because everyone has memorable parts to play. For instance, Shraddha doesn’t just come for a song, she plays an important character. She’s one of the biggest assets and the story is narrated from her point of view.”

Made on a whopping budget of over Rs 300 Crore, the film is made in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi. Shraddha Kapoor will be seen as Prabhas' love interest while Neil Nitin Mukesh plays a prominent role.

Renowned music trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy has composed the soundtrack for the film while Sabu Cyril is the production designer. The film is being bankrolled by Uppalapati Pramod and V Vamsi Krishna Reddy on UV Creations banner.

The teaser of Saaho was released with Baahubali: The Conclusion and the first glimpses of the film treated the audience with a futuristic theme. Director Sujeeth is said to be working hard in order to meet the mammoth expectations on the film.
