The title of Darshan’s 53rd film has been revealed and it is Roberrt! Darshan’s fans are gaga over the title of the new film, which will be a family entertainer as opposed to speculations that it is a mass entertainer. Roberrt’s director Tharun Sudhir has confirmed this news. The director has said that he has penned the film not as a director but as Darshan’s fan, which means it will have all the elements that the star’s fans would love to watch on the silver screen.

According to reports, Darshan’s first look in the movie will be launched on February 16 to coincide with his birthday. The team is working on it and will be thrilling fans with the birthday treat.
When this film was announced, it was revealed that Darshan’s character in it is named Roberrt but the director put an end to all guesswork and clarified that the character will have nothing to do with the star’s cameo role in Chowka. The prep work for this film has been going on for a few months now and the shooting is to commence this month.
In the meantime, Darshan is expecting the release of two of his films – Kurukshetra and Yajamana. Both films are in the final stages of post-production and may get a release date soon.
Darshan plays Duryodhana in Kurukshetra, which is a historical based on the epic Mahabharata and the story is told from his perspective. One of the most expensive films to ever be made in the Kannada film industry, Kurukshetra is bankrolled by Muniratna under his banner KCN Movies.
In Yajamana, Darshan plays the lead role with Rashmika Mandanna playing the woman lead along with Tanya Hope as the second heroine. Bankrolled by Shylaja Nag and B Suresha, the film is directed by Pon Kumaran.
