After wrapping up the shoot for the Malayalam film Virus, actor Rima Kallingal is all set to play a role in a Hindi short film produced by Anurag Kashyap, Hyper productions and Taxi films. The film titled Sunny Side Upar will see Rima acting along with Ishqbaaz sensation Nakuul Mehta and actor Rytasha Rathore. Tanuja Chandra, who directed Malayalam actor Parvathy's first Hindi film Qarib Qarib Singlle, is also associated with the project.
The film's director Vijayeta tweeted that Sunny Side Upar has an all woman crew. The cinematography is by Priyanka Singh.
On Saturday, pictures posted by Tanuja Chandra and Nakuul Mehta confirmed that Rima is indeed playing a part in the short film. In his Twitter post, Nakuul wrote "An absolute pleasure to have collaborated with this bundle of joy & talent, also one of the premier stars of the Malayalam film industry --> @rimakallingal on what has been essentially one of the happiest & sensitive sets I have had the good fortune to work on." Pictures of Rima and Nakuul sitting along with the cast and crew of the film were shared on his Twitter page.

Short films are a ton of fun. Especially when you're the creative producer and someone else is doing all the suffering. So nice doing a reading with @rimakallingal, @nakuulmehta, @rytash for @sacredinsanity's film. Lovely people, all. Produced by @anuragkashyap10, @hyper_digital_artistry, @cinemakasam - such singular wonderfulness to have an almost entirely female crew! #SunnySideUpar
According to reports, a script reading session of the film was held recently and the pictures were shared by Nakuul on his social media handles.
Nakuul shot to fame as Shivaay Singh Oberoi in the Hindi show Ishqbaaz which aired on Star Plus. Rima's most recent project is Virus directed by Aashiq Abu.
