If you’re wondering why Simbu looks so bloated, there’s a strong reason for the actor’s sudden, abnormal weight gain.
It has finally been revealed that the weight gain is for one of the roles from his upcoming film AAA, which is being directed by Adhik Ravichandran. The film features Simbu in triple roles for the first time and the makers had already announced that he plays a hooligan called Madura Michael, a role which features Simbu in his normal self.
In the film, he plays a 60-year old character called Ashwin Thatha, and it’s for this role he was required to gain weight. Apparently, he increased his weight by nearly 15 kg for the role which will be one of the highlights in the film. The makers have kept the third character still under wraps. It has also been learnt that there will be three teasers, introducing each character and a separate teaser for the film.
Being produced by Michael Rayappan, the film also stars Tamannaah Bhatia and Shriya Saran in important roles.
