Regina Cassandra’s look in the upcoming Telugu movie Awe was released on her birthday on November 25 and has been well received by movie buffs.
On releasing the actor’s look in the film, actor Nani and one of the producers of Awe pointed out that Regina had put in a lot of hard work to fit into the role.
Speaking about her role to TOI, Regina has said that it took her team a lot of research to finalise her look. She recalled that her stylist Shanthi, tattoo artistes Mo and Vijay had done an exemplary job to give her the right look.
Doing a role that has shades of grey, Regina will be seen sporting tattoos specially designed for the purpose and that includes a tree and snake.
Stating that her look was finalized in July this year, Regina pointed out that she just couldn’t wait for her fans to see it. Thoroughly happy over the way it has shaped up, the actor is waiting eagerly for Awe to release next year.
Further, she said that it was extremely difficult to keep her look secret, as she had to appear for public and film-related events, and people started to guess that the makeover must be for Awe.
Directed by Prashanth Varma, the movie is touted to be women-centric with Kajal Aggarwal, Nithya Menon, and Regina Cassandra playing the lead roles with Srinivas Avasarala, Eesha Rebba, Murali Sharma, Priyadarshi Pullikonda, Rohini Molleti, Hari Teja, and Devadarshini included in the star cast. Ravi Teja and Nani have done the voice over for Awe.
The film is produced by Prashanti Tipirneni and Nani under the banner Wall Poster Cinema. It may be mentioned here that Awe happens to be Nani’s first production venture. Karthik Ghattamaneni is the director of photography with Goutham Nreusu is the editor.
