Upcoming Tamil film Suttu Pidikka Utharavu directed by Ram Prakash Rayappa has been censored with a UA. Starring Vikranth, Athulya Ravi, directors Mysskin and Susienthiran, in lead roles, this film is touted to be a thriller set around a bank robbery. The film marks director Susienthiran’s acting debut.

While Mysskin will be seen playing a police officer, Susienthiran and Vikranth will be seen as private security firm employees. The film is produced PK Ram Mohan under his banner Kalpataru pictures.

The technical crew of Suttu Pidikka Utharavu comprises Jakes Bejoy for music, G Rama Rao for editing and Sujith Sarang for camerawork. With the film censored, its release date is expected to be announced soon. The first look was launched by actor Sivakarthikeyan on July 20 last year and the teaser was released on August 16 by actor Dhanush.

Mysskin was last seen in the hit movie Super Deluxe. The film was directed by the National Award winning director Thiagarajan Kumararaja and had a bevy of stars in the cast with Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, Samantha, and Ramya Krishnan in pivotal roles.

The film was bankrolled by Tyler Durden and Kino Fist in association with East West Dream Workz Entertainment and Alchemy Vision Workz. While the film has been penned by director Thiagarajan Kumararaja, the additional screenplay for it was written by Mysskin, Nalan Kumarasamy and Neelan K Sekar.

As a director, Mysskin also has Psycho lined up for release this year. Touted to be a psychological comedy its music has been composed by Ilaiyaraaja and the cinematography is handled by PC Sreeram, collaborating for the first time with Mysskin. The film is being produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin, who also plays the lead role in it.
