Ram Charan Teja is bankrolling a biopic, titled Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy with his dad, mega star Chiranjeevi playing the titular role. Produced under their banner Konidela Production Company, the biopic is made on a budget of Rs 200 crores. With a bevy of stars in the cast, including Amitabh Bachchan, Sudeep, Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara and Tammannah, the film’s shooting is in progress.
In a recent interview to the Hindustan Times, Ram Charan was asked when he would star in a biopic now that he is producing one. To which the young actor – producer replied that he is only interested in watching biopic for now and may not take up an offer any time soon. He was quoted saying, “I’m interested in watching biopics because of the intrigue factor associated with them. But I’m not quite sure if I’ll be able to do complete justice to any person being depicted on screen... However, I can’t really say what’s in store for future.”
Well, going by what he has said, there is a possibility that he might consider if a suitable offer comes his way.
The star is currently basking in glory over the grand success of his last hit Rangasthalam, directed by Sukumar. The makers had recently organised a 100-day function at a convention centre in Hyderabad.
Ram Charan is now busy on the sets of the Boyapati Srinivas directorial which has not been titled yet. The shooting of the film is underway.
Ram Charan also has one of the most anticipated films, directed by SS Rajamouli with Jr NTR in the star cast, in his kitty. The prep work to get this film on to the floors is already on and the shooting will commence from October this year.
According to reports, the film, tentatively titled RRR will be out at the theatres for Sankaranthi in 2020.
