After nearly a 2 year gap, power star Pawan Kalyan is making his comeback in Tollywood with the remake of the Hindi movie Pink. The Telugu actor will reprise Amitabh Bachchan's role from the original. The movie is titled Vakeel Saab and is expected to release on May 15 this year.

In the meantime, director Krish has narrated one line to Pawan Kalyan and if everything goes well they will start shooting after Pawan completes his work for the Pink remake. If sources are anything to go by, director Krish may be able to pull off a casting coup by getting Ram Charan Teja to do a cameo in his upcoming Pawan Kalyan starrer. If this happens, it will be the first time the uncle-nephew combo will be seen on the silver screens.

Krish is currently busy with the groundwork for the upcoming film with the Power Star Pawan Kalyan, referred to as PSPK 27.

Meanwhile, Ram Charan is currently busy with the SS Rajamouli directorial RRR and he is also currently producing Acharya which stars his dad the megastar Chiranjeevi.

Sources also say that Ram Charan has been approached to play an extended cameo in the Chiranjeevi  starrer as well.  However, there is still no confirmation on whether he has accepted the part as he is currently busy with RRR.

Earlier, it was reported that Chiru will be appearing in two get-ups for his role in Acharya – one as a 30-year-old and the other as an old man. But the director has tweaked it a bit and has approached Ram Charan for the younger version. Chiranjeevi’s character in the film is named Acharya and he will be playing the role of a Naxalite turned social reformer.

With Koratala Siva penning the script, fans are thrilled as he will be teaming up with the megastar for the first time. We hear that the script is being drawn up keeping in mind the star’s image. The film will be produced jointly by Ram Charan under his banner Konidela Production Company in association with Niranjan Reddy’s Matinee Entertainment.

Trisha was initially roped in to play the female lead in Acharya,  but now there are reports that she has opted out and the search is on for another leading lady.
