Director SS Rajamouli’s next film after the massive success of the Baahubali franchise is RRR. The crew is currently camped in Gujarat for a hectic schedule.

“Off to a flying start! Big schedule ahead (sic),” the film’s lead hero Jr NTR said in a tweet.

Apart from Jr NTR and Ram Charan playing lead roles in the film, the makers have roped in Ali Bhatt and Ajay Devgn. Alia will join the sets in this schedule and will be playing the female lead in the film. According to a TOI report, she will be paired opposite Ram Charan Teja who will be playing the character of Alluri Seetharamaraju.

Jr NTR, who is also the male lead in RRR, will play the character of Komaran Bheem in the movie. Pairing up with him in the film will be British actor Daisy Edgar-Jones. Kollywood director and actor Samuthirakani is already on board RRR with a crucial role.

The director is planning to finish the entire film's shoot by March 2020 and at the recently held press meet it was announced that the film's release will happen on July 30, 2020 in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi and other Indian languages.

With RRR being director SS Rajamouli’s first film after the massive success of Baahubali, expectations are very high on it. During the 16th edition of the Harvard India Conference, Rajamouli was asked about RRR to which he replied, “It will be a pan-India film because the nature of the story is like that.”

RRR is a high budget film which is bankrolled by DVV Dhanayya under his banner DVV Entertainments. The budget of the film is around Rs 300 crore.  On RRR, the film’s producer DVV Dhanayya had said during its launch, “There are already great expectations from the film with the Nandamuri fans, and all moviegoers expecting something out of the ordinary. I promise I will make sure no stone is left un-turned from my side in that regard.”
