The News Minute| 8 November 2014| 13.50 pm ISTRamakrishna Bhat, a witness in the alleged sexual assault case against Ramachandrapura Mutt seer Raghaveshwara Swami was called to give statement at the CID office in Bangalore on Friday. However, he was detained by the Dakshina Kannada police until evening for questioning over a trivial issue, reports Vijaya Karnataka. The director of the ‘Kashyap Yuva Brahmana Vedike’ said, “The police claimed that they had received a report against me, although there was none. After spending several hours, two men arrived demanding a refund of Rs. 1001 they had paid towards the organisation two years ago. The behaviour of the sub-inspector towards me was suspicious. Around 4, inspector Satish arrived and informed me that there was no case reported and subsequently, I was released.”
