With Rampalji Maharaj waging war in Hisar, to the dead Ashutosh Maharaj who is being held on ice at his ashram by his followers. Another so-called ‘guruji’ is set to make waves, in the cinema world this time. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh is the spiritual leader of the Dera Sacha Sauda, a spiritual organization with over 50 million followers. This quite modern leader is now releasing a film called ‘MSG – Messenger of God’. In the movie’s official trailer Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh appears as himself and claims that he is just the messenger of god and not god himself. The movie looks every bit like a Rajnikanth film, with bad guys chases and fighting and even some ‘heroic’ slow motion walking in what looks like a sports arena. The film’s peg seems to be that the ‘MSG’ is here to save humankind from all evils, only if they followed this Punjabi Rajnikanth, who if we might say so ourselves, looks rather swag!
