After the release of his Natasarvabhouma on Thursday, Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar will be shifting his focus to the Santosh Ananddram directorial from February 14. Santosh Ananddram and Puneeth Rajkumar had teamed up for Raajakumara earlier, which had turned out to be a huge hit commercially. They are now getting back together for Yuva Ratna, which will be out in theatres in mid 2019.

While the shooting for Yuva Ratna is yet to commence, Puneeth has inked another deal with director Chetan Kumar. Sources in the know say that it will be on the lines of James Bond films with an Indian flavour. The shooting for the Chetan Kumar directorial is scheduled to begin next month. There is a buzz that the shooting may commence on Puneeth’s birthday, March 17. This film will be bankrolled by Kishore Pathikonda under his banner. In fact, this film’s poster was released a while ago and it had Puneeth on the logo which revealed his look in it. And going by the poster, the film will be something to watch out for. It may be noted here that Chetan Kumar made films such as Bahaddhur and Bharjari, and is now wielding the megaphone for Srimurali’s Bharaate, which he will complete before going ahead with the Puneeth starrer.

Meanwhile, Puneeth’s Natasarvabhouma released to a good opening. Directed by Pavan Wadeyar, the film is bankrolled by Rockline Venkatesh under his banner Rockline Productions. The film’s technical crew include D Imman for music, Tollywood dance master Jani for choreography, and Vaidhi as the cameraman. The film has two heroines – Rachita Ram and Anupama Parameswaran. It may be mentioned here that the latter is making her debut in Sandalwood with this film.

Looks like Puneeth’s fans are in for treats at regular intervals this year with his film releases planned well.
