Kannada star Puneeth Rajkumar and director Santhosh Ananddram had teamed up for Rajakumaraa and the film went on to become a huge hit. Following this massive success, the duo has decided to team up for another film which will go on the floors soon.

While the prep work is on, there are a lot of speculations about the movie’s title. The director did reveal earlier that one of the titles of the late Kannada thespian Dr Rajkumar, who is also Puneeth’s father, would be taken up for the upcoming movie and this news created a lot of rumours.

Grapevine has it that the film may be titled Parashurama. The title is that of a hit Dr Rajkumar film that was released in 1989. Incidentally, Puneeth Rajkumar appeared as a child artiste in the film. Also, Parashurama was Puneeth’s last film as a child artiste.

Puneeth’s next release this year would be Natasarvabhouma. The shooting for this film is currently on and the star will be joining the sets of Santosh Ananddram’s directorial after he is done with it.

Natasarvabhouma, tipped to belong to the horror genre, is one of the most anticipated films of the year, with Puneeth playing the title role. The title ‘Natasarvabhouma’ befitted his father, the legendary actor Rajkumar, so well and now with his son doing a movie with the same title, fans just can’t wait to address him thus.

Directed by Pawan Wadeyar, Natasarvabhouma will have two leading ladies – Rachita Ram and Anupama Parameswaran. The technical crew of the film includes Vaidhi on camera and D Imman for music. Produced by Rockline Venkatesh, Natasarvabhouma is slated for release later this year.

Natasarvabhouma will be Puneeth’s first film release of the year. However, it may be noted here that he made a cameo appearance in Humble Politician Nograj early this year. Natasarvabhouma, which went on the floors a couple of months ago, is likely to hit the silver screens later this year.
