Priya Prakash Varrier shot to limelight with her wink in her debut movie Oru Adaar Love. The film hit the marquee early this year. Directed by Omar Lulu, it was produced by Ousepachan Vaalakuzhy under the banner Ousepachan Movie House. It is a campus entertainer that revolved around a set of students. The film had a bevy of newbies in pivotal roles, including Roshan Abdul Rahoof, Noorin Shereef, Siyadh Shajahan, Priya Prakash Varrier and Michelle Ann Daniel. While the director himself was in charge of the story, the screenplay was penned by Sarang Jayaprakash and Lijo Panadan. Shaan Rahman composed music for this venture with Sinu Sidharth cranking the camera and Achu Vijayan editing it.

And now the actor’s fans are waiting for her debut in Bollywood. She is currently busy with the Hindi film Sridevi Bungalow which is directed by Prasanth Mambully. The first trailer of the film, unveiled some time back, was at the centre of controversy for some time. On this, News18 quoted Priya Varrier as saying, “Sridevi Bungalow is my debut in Bollywood. There have been some controversies around it but eventually, it will come out as a good film. I got a lot of positive feedback from the second trailer.”

Besides Sridevi Bungalow, Priya also has another Hindi film titled Love Hackers in her kitty. The film is a crime thriller directed by Mayank Prakash Srivastava. This film will be shot across various locations in Gurgaon, Delhi, Lucknow and Mumbai. On Love Hackers, Priya had told Cinema Express in an interview that it is about the cyber world’s dark side. In a statement, she said, “I play the protagonist, who, with her knowledge, instinct, and presence of mind, emerges a winner after being trapped in an unfortunate situation. The story is based on real incidents.”
