Ayyappanum Koshiyum, the upcoming Malayalam film, will have Prithviraj and Biju Menon playing the lead roles. Interestingly, both of them will be seen in the title roles. While Biju Menon will be playing the character Ayappan Nair, a police constable, Prithviraj will be seen as a retired army havildar Koshy Kurien, who had put in 16 years of service.

Reports are that Ayyappanum Koshiyum will be about the two heroes at loggerheads over a minor legal issue. Wielding the megaphone for this venture would be Sachy. It may be noted that the trio – Sachy, Prithviraj and Biju Menon – had teamed up for Anarkali in 2015 and are now getting back together for Ayyappanum Koshiyum. This time around, they are collaborating for a mass action entertainer, which has upped the expectation levels. Jakes Bejoy is composing the tunes for this flick with Sudeep Elamon cranking the camera.

The shooting of Ayyappanum Koshiyum will begin once the lead actors are free of their current acting assignments.

Prithviraj Sukumaran has Brother’s Day needing his attention right now. Reports are that this will be a complete commercial entertainer. Actor Kalabhavan Shajohn will be making his directorial debut with Brother’s Day. The team had returned from Greece where they had wrapped up a schedule recently. Listin Stephen is bankrolling the film under his banner Magic Frames on a budget of Rs 15 crore. Miya, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Prayaga Rose Martin and Aima Sebastian have been roped in to play the female leads in this film.

Biju Menon, on the other hand, has Thuramukham besides a host of other films. Nivin Pauly plays the lead role in this film and Biju Menon has a crucial role to reprise. The film is being directed by Rajeev Ravi of Kammati Paadam fame.
