Prasanna, who has been seen predominantly in Tamil and Telugu movies till date, is making his debut in the Malayalam film industry with Brother’s Day. The first look of the actor in Brother’s Day was released recently. He looks stylish and has an important role to play in the film, we hear. Apparently he plays the villain in this film.

The actor also has one Kannada movie called Vismaya to his credit, till date. With his Malayalam debut in Brother’s Day, he would’ve acted in all the four south Indian languages.

Prithviraj Sukumaran plays the lead role in Brother’s Day and his look in the film was revealed a couple of months ago which went viral among the netizens.  In the poster, the star is seen sporting a beard and leaning on a Royal Enfield bike with a wide grin on his face. Reports are that this will be a complete commercial entertainer.

Actor Kalabhavan Shajohn is making his directorial debut with Brother’s Day. Listin Stephen is bankrolling the film under his banner Magic Frames on a budget of Rs 15 crore. Miya, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Prayaga Rose Martin and Aima Sebastian have been roped in to play the female leads in this film.

Prasanna’s last film release was Viswamitra, which was based on some real incidents that happened at a church in New Zealand and America. The film, directed by Raj Kiran, revolves around a woman who works in a software company and is averse to men.

Prasanna is also part of Karthick’s Mafia in which he is sharing screen space with Arun Vijay. He also said that he is part of Udhayanidhi Stalin’s upcoming Tamil crime thriller Kannai Nambathey. Apart from that Prasanna is also getting ready for Mysskin’s Thupparivaalan 2.

The actor made his digital debut with the web series Thiravam based on the life of Ramar Pillai who shot to limelight with his invention of herbal petrol in the year 1996.
