Finally, Pranav Mohanlal’s debut venture Aadhi hit the silver screens on Republic Day, January 26, amidst a lot of expectations and is doing well at the theatres. Directed by Jeethu Joseph under whom Pranav had worked as an assistant director, Aadhi was produced by Antony Perumbavoor under his banner Aashirvad Cinemas.
The action thriller has Siddique, Lena, Anusree, Sharafudheen, Meghanathan, Jagapati Babu, Siju Wilson, Aditi Ravi, Tony Luke, Krishna Shankar and Sijoy Varghese in pivotal roles. Mohanlal and producer Anthony Perumbavoor are seen in cameo roles in this flick. The movie made a collection of Rs 1.5 crore at the box office on its opening day. Anil Johnson has composed music for this venture with Satheesh Kurup cranking the camera and Ayoob Khan editing it. The film is distributed by Maxlab Cinemas and Entertainments.
With Pranav’s debut film out at the theatres, there are a lot of expectations about his next. According to reports doing the rounds, his next will be produced by popular filmmaker Anwar Rasheed. With three of Anwar Rasheed’s production ventures – Bangalore Days, Premam and Parava turning out to be blockbuster hits, his association with Pranav has already set the anticipation levels high. While Anwar Rasheed is likely to produce Pranav’s next, debutant Vyasakh will wield the megaphone for it. Details about the rest of the star cast and crew are expected to be revealed soon.
Meanwhile, Anwar Rasheed is busy with his directorial Trance, which has Fahadh Faasil playing the lead. Amal Neerad is cranking the camera for this venture. This is not the first time that Anwar Rasheed and Fahadh Faasil are teaming up as they had come with the hit movie Anchu Sundarikal earlier.
