Pranav Mohanlal made his debut as hero with Aadhi and it was a successful debut, no doubt. The young actor played the title role in the film and it went on to strike a chord with the film buffs earning him a huge fan base. According to trade reports, Aadhi managed to enter the Rs. 20 crore club within 11 days of its release. And now, the film has reached the Rs. 50 crores club. The film’s producers have confirmed this indeed.

An action thriller, Aadhi has been directed by Jeethu Joseph under whom the film’s lead star Pranav had worked as an assistant director. The film was bankrolled by Anthony Perumbavoor under his banner Aashirvad Cinemas.

Aadhi is a Malayalam-language action thriller film written and directed by Jeethu Joseph. The film stars Pranav Mohanlal in the title role. It was produced by Antony Perumbavoor under his banner Aashirvad Cinemas and was released to positive reviews on January 26th this year to coincide with the Republic Day weekend.

The film’s star cast also includes Aditi Ravi, Anusree, Jagapati Babu, Siddique, Lena, Sharaf U Dheen, Siju Wilson and Meghanathan. Anil Johnson had scored the music for Aadhi while Satheesh Kurup had worked with the camera and Ayoob Khan had edited it.

Pranav is currently busy with the Arun Gopy directorial and will then be moving over to a film to be directed by director IV Sasi’s son Ani Sasi. According to reports, Pranav will be paired opposite Kalyani Priyadarshan in this flick.

Pranav made his acting debut as a child artiste with Onnaman and won the Kerala State Award for Best Child Actor for his performance in Punarjani. He had worked as an assistant to director Jeethu Joseph in Papanasam and Life of Josutty before donning the greasepaint as hero in Aadhi.
