Bollywood diva Katrina Kaif did not mince words when asked about which hero she prefers to share the screen space with, in a Tamil or Telugu film. The gorgeous actor, during the SIIMA event in Dubai, said that it would be Prabhas in a Telugu flick and Vikram in a Tamil movie. She was quoted as saying. “I think Vikram is an amazing actor and Prabhas has done a phenomenal job in Baahubali franchise.”
Katrina was at the SIIMA event to promote her upcoming film Jagga Jasoos along with its hero Ranbir Kapoor. Touted to be an adventure comedy musical, the film has a long list of stars including Sayani Gupta, Saswata Chatterjee, Saurabh Shukla, Denzil Smith, Brijendra Kala, Karan Wahi, Mir Sarwar, Draupada Kumari and Bijou Thaangjam. Govinda will be seen in a cameo appearance in this flick.
Written and directed by Anurag Basu, the film is produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur, Anurag Basu, and Ranbir Kapoor under the banners Disney India, Picture Shuru Entertainment and Ishana Movies. Pritam has composed music for Jagga Jasoos with Ravi Varman cranking the camera and Akiv Ali editing it. Made on a budget of Rs. 80 crores, the film is due for release on July 14th, 2017and the promotions have reached a feverish pitch with the release date nearing.
Meanwhile, the Baahubali star Prabhas is busy with his upcoming film Saaho, directed by Sujeeth Reddy and Vikram is concentrating on the Gautham Menon directorial Dhruva Natchathiram. The shooting of Dhruva Natchathiram is currently on in Bulgaria.
Katrina has worked in a couple of Telugu films in her career such as Malliswari and Allari Pidugu and hasn’t made her Tamil debut yet. She is currently busy with Tiger Zinda Hai and Thugs of Hindosthan.
