Pooja Hegde will be pairing up with Allu Arjun in his upcoming film with director Trivikram Srinivas. There were enough speculations about who would be paired opposite Allu Arjun in this film with the names of top heroines in Tollywood thrown in. Finally, we hear that Pooja Hegde has bagged the offer.
Interestingly, she shares a good rapport with both Trivikram Srinivas as well as Allu Arjun after having worked with them in Aravindha Sametha and Duvvada Jagannadham.
Sources in the know say that Kiara Advani and Rashmika Mandanna were in fray for the heroine’s role in this untitled film but eventually it went to Pooja Hegde. While reports are that yesteryear actress Nagma after 12 long years is set for a comeback in Tollywood in the movie.
In Trivikram Srinivas’ Aravindha Sametha, Pooja Hegde got to share the screen space with Jr NTR. The film was bankrolled by S Radha Krishna under his banner Haarika & Hassine Creations on a big budget. Its technical crew included S Thaman for music, PS Vinod for cinematography and Naveen Nooli and Nithin Mc for editing.
Released on June 23, Allu Arjun’s Duvvada Jagannadham was directed by Harish Shankar, and was produced by Dil Raju under his banner Sri Venkateswara Creations. While Allu Arjun played the main lead in it, the film had Pooja Hegde as his lead pair. Rao Ramesh, Subbaraju, Tanikella Bharani, Chandramohan and Vennela Kishore were in the star cast for supporting roles. Devi Sri Prasad had composed music for this venture with Ayananka Bose handling the camera while Ramesh Reddy and Sathish Vegnesha had penned the screenplay.
Pooja Hegde is currently busy with the Bollywood film Housefull 4 in which she shares the screen space with Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon, Riteish Deshmukh, Kriti Kharbanda, Bobby Deol and Rana Daggubati. She also plays Mahesh Babu’s lead pair in the upcoming Telugu film Maharshi, which is slated for release next month.
