Paris was coloured in bright hues as 20,000 participants took part in the Color Run 2015. Also dubbed as the world’s happiest run, the 5 kilometre race has two simple objectives- one is for the runners to begin wearing white coloured clothes and the other is to finish, drenched in colour. The race happened along the banks of River Seine with the help of many helpful volunteers at checkpoints who ensured that the participants were covered in brightly coloured powder.The run was first started in the USA and it gradually expanded to other countries. This year, the 5K marathon will happen in nearly 51 countries, world over.The funds that were raised through the event would go to support l’association les Petits Princes, a charity which works towards supporting hospitalized children and their families.
