2018 is the year of celebrity weddings in India and fans who keep a close watch on the happenings of tinsel town have had an exciting few weeks. Just when the dust (read glitter) around DeepVeer’s wedding has just begun to settle down, a new wave of sparkles have descended over town with Priyanka and Nick sharing pictures from their wedding ceremony.
Seen dancing, twirling and laughing in the photos, Priyanka wrote, “One of the most special things that our relationship has given us is a merging of families who love and respect each other’s faiths and cultures. And so planning our wedding with an amalgamation of both was so so amazing. An important part of the pre wedding rituals for the girl in an Indian wedding is the Mehendi. Once again we made it our own and it was an afternoon that kicked odd the celebrations in a way we both dreamed.”

Dressed in a colourful pink-yellow-green Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla ensemble with minimal heirloom jewellery and flowers adorning her hair, Priyanka is seen blushing and laughing from ear-to-ear in these pictures. The folksy look has been inspired by a vintage AJSK collection.
Nick is dressed in an aqua bhakiya kurta and is also seen wearing mehendi in one of the photos.
Nick’s brother Joe's fiancee Sophie Turner is seen wearing a dark green lehenga, Priyanka’s cousin and actor Parineeti is seen in a canary yellow ensemble.
Surrounded by friends and relatives, the couple had a beautiful Christian ceremony at Umaid Bhawan Palace on Saturday. The Hindu wedding ceremony has been planned for Sunday. The couple began their wedding celebration on Wednesday with a puja at Priyanka’s residence.
