Bollywood actor Sonam Kapoor married businessman Anand Ahuja on Tuesday in a glittering affair, with the who’s who of Bollywood attending the wedding.
The bride, Sonam, looked radiant, and certainly seemed to be enjoying her special day. In the first couple of photos that came out after the duo’s wedding ceremony, they looked elated. Sonam seemed to be glowing with happiness and can be seen in many pictures smiling and laughing.

Sonam stole the show in a red and golden lehenga choli designed by Anuradha Vakil. Meanwhile, Anand looked dapper in a beige bandhgala by Raghavendra Rathore.
The traditional punjabi wedding ceremony began around 12.30pm and lasted for about an hour.
Stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor and family, Aamir Khan, Rani Mukherjee, Karan Johar were present as the wedding.
The couple’s wedding festivities began on Sunday with a mehendi ceremony, followed by a sangeet on Monday, which was attended by a number of Bollywood celebrities including Sridevi’s daughters Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandes and others.
Close friends and family members thronged the house, which was adorned by lights and soaked in the festive fervour.
While fashionista Sonam looked radiant in a peach and grey ethnic outfit, with statement jewellery as she sat down to get intricate henna designs done on her hands, Anand looked suave in a salmon sherwani.

Photographs and video snippets from the function were splashed across social media.
Among the first ones to arrive at the venue were cousins Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor and Shanaya Kapoor, who were dressed in ethnic wear. Also in attendance were cousins Arjun Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor and Mohit Marwah.
The dress code for the sangeet, meanwhile, was ‘shades of white’, which the celebrities, including Sonam, pulled off gracefully.
There were also videos of the bride-to-be and her father dancing and making merry with their family.

The families will host a reception at The Leela in Mumbai on Tuesday evening. It is being rumoured that Sonam's reception outfit has been designed by popular British brand Ralph and Russo, who are also rumoured to be designing actor Meghan Markle’s royal wedding dress.
Sonam will be seen next in Veere Di Wedding, which also stars Kareena Kapoor and Swara Bhaskar.
Her husband, Anand, is a Delhi-based businessman. He is the founder and CEO of the apparel brand bhane, and also owns the multi-brand sneaker boutique VegNonVeg.
