The News Minute | January 3, 2015 | 10.45 AM ISTThe people of Thuvakudi, Thiruchy beat up a 55-year-old lady who they thought had made “human sacrifice” of a girl whose body was found in an abandoned quarry. The body of a four-year-old girl who had been missing since December 30 was found by the local residents on Friday, Times of India reported. On suspicion that Dhanam, a lady who was believed to have kidnapped three kids earlier also, was the person behind this, the mob attacked her. The police reached the spot, rescued her from attack and detained her for questioning.The locals blocked the Thiruchy-Tanjavur national highway for around 20 minutes demanding the arrest of the lady. The revenue officials and the police assured the people that the matter would be investigated.Dhanam had earlier kidnapped three kids and had pretended to identify their locations through black magic.
