The seer of the Pejavar Mutt, Vishveshwa Tirtha Swami urged Hindus to give up vandalizing places of worship.

Addressing a gathering during the Virat Hindu Samajotsava on Sunday in Mangaluru, he influential seer said: “I know that you will not like what I am going to say now, but I will say it nonetheless.Hindu youths must stop vandalism and give up throwing stones at churches and prayer halls. I know that this will not earn me any applause.”

He also said that more than the danger of external threats, Hindu society was damaged by so-called intellectuals.

Dharmadhikari of Sri Khestra Dharmasthala, and a Jain by faith, D Veerendra Hegggade urged Hindu youth to restrain aggressiveness unless the situation demanded it.

However, while both religious leaders are well over 60, the star of the evening was without a doubt 18-year-old Sadhvi Balika Saraswati, and she had been projected as such as well.

Towards the end of her speech, she told the gathering that Hindu men must give swords to the women in their families.
