Jana Sena Party chief and actor Pawan Kalyan will begin his ‘Chalo re Chalo’ yatra in Telangana from Kondagattu near Jagitial today. In the first phase of the yatra, the actor will tour the state from January 22 to 24.

On the first day of the yatra, the actor will offer prayers at the Anjaneya Swamy temple in Kondagattu at 3 pm and kick off the three-day phase. During the yatra, he would meet his party functionaries to listen to their problems first-hand.

The Hans India quoted the actor saying, “It was because of Lord Anjaneya that I escaped from an accident here in 2009. This is the reason why I want to start my expedition from here.”

The actor on Twitter wrote, “I have decided to start my non-stop political journey from Kondagattu Anjaneya Swamy Temple, which is a sacred place on the Telugu land. I am coming to people from this holy place to study and understand the problems being faced by them in the two Telugu-speaking States.”

During a brief press interaction on Sunday, the actor said that the yatra will focus on learning the problems of the people first-hand and how he could help them.

As per the itinerary, Pawan will proceed to Kondagattu from Jana Sena headquarters located at Jubilee Hills on Monday morning. At 3 pm, he will perform puja to the presiding deity in the Kondagattu Anjaneya Swamy Temple. After that, he would announce his action plan and begin his journey, The New Indian Express reported.

After starting the campaign from Jagitial, the actor will tour Karimnagar and meet people to know their problems. He will also meet the party functionaries in Karimnagar.

On January 23, the actor will have a meeting with the party functionaries from Karimnagar, Adilabad and Nizamabad districts.

He would conclude the tour in Khammam on January 24. In Khammam he would meet the party workers from Khammam, Warangal and Nalgonda.
