The Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India success meet was organised recently in Hyderabad. Even before the film’s release, Power Star Pawan Kalyan had promised that he would be attending its success meet and he did keep his word.
The star was at the success meet, though only briefly, and had some good words to share about his nephew and actor Allu Arjun. He was quoted by the Deccan Chronicle as saying: “I didn’t know that my brother Naga Babu is the producer of this film. I liked Allu Arjun’s Arya and I am happy to see his rise. I hope even in the future, he does more good films and earns a good name for his grandfather and parents.”
Speaking at the event, Allu Arjun said, “Many people told me that their kids want to buy military costumes after watching the film, which I think is a wonderful compliment. I am proud of the film and I got lot of appreciation. I also thank Kalyan Babai for coming to this function.”
Naa Peru Surya is an action drama written and directed by Vakkantham Vamsi, who made his directorial debut with this flick. Vamsi is a well-known writer in the Telugu film industry with several blockbuster hits to his credit. The film starred Allu Arjun in the lead role with Anu Emmanuel playing the lead opposite him. The star cast also includes Arjun Sarja, R Sarathkumar, Thakur Anoop Singh and Boman Irani in supporting roles.
Vishal – Shekhar had composed the music for this venture with Rajeev Ravi cranking the camera and Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao editing it. The film was produced by Sridhar Lagadapati, Sirisha Lagadapati, Bunny Vas, Sushil Choudhary and K Nagendra Babu under the banner Ramalakshmi Cine Combines. The film was released on May 4.
