When two of the finest actors team up for a movie, film buffs are sure to be in for a treat. We are happy to report one such news.
According to reports, Parvathy and Biju Menon will soon be working together for a film to be directed by Harikumar. Adapted from the short story Autorikshawkarante Bharya, written by M Mukundan, the film will have the script penned by the author himself. The groundwork for this project is currently happening and an official announcement regarding the film is on the cards.
According to sources in the know, both the actors are busy with their own projects and are yet to give their dates. Once it is finalised, other details about the film will be revealed. Director Harikumar has been quoted by the Times of India as saying, “I have consulted both Biju Menon and Parvathy for the movie. However, we are yet to lock down their dates. Once everything is finalised, we will announce the project.”
Parvathy, who has been very selective about her projects, began her career with the Malayalam film Out of Syllabus in 2006. She had acted in films such as Notebook, Bangalore Days, Flash, Ennu Ninte Moideen and Charlie in Malayalam and Male Barali Manju Irali, Prithvi and Andhar Bahar in Kannada; Poo, Chennaiyil Oru Naal, Uttama Villain in Tamil and Qarib Qarib Singlle in Hindi. She currently has a number of films in her kitty lined up for release including an Anjali Menon directorial and My Story in Mollywood and Sivaranjiniyum Innum Sila Pengalum in Tamil.
Biju Menon, who will be sharing the screen space with her in the upcoming Harikumar directorial, also has a long line-up of films needing his attention, including Orayiram Kinakalal. His last film was Rosapoo which was directed by Vinu Joseph.
