At 25, Ritesh Agarwal, founder and CEO of OYO is the youngest self-made entrepreneur on the IIFL India Hurun India Rich List of 2019 with a net worth of Rs 7,500 crore. According to Hurun, he reported a whopping 188% increase in wealth this year and was the fourth-highest gainer.

The second-youngest richest entrepreneur is 33-year-old Ankit Bhati, the co-founder and CTO of Ola Cabs, whose wealth was reported to be Rs 1,400 crore. Sriharsha Majety, the co-founder and CEO of Swiggy, also 33, was reported to Rs 1,400 crore in wealth as well. 

34-year-old Ola Cabs co-founder Bhavish Aggarwal was also on the list, with Rs 3,100 crore in wealth. 

33-year-old Divya Gokulnath is fourth on the list. Divya is the co-founder of Byju’s, and has Rs 1,800 crore in wealth. Another Byju’s co-founder, 38-year-old Riju Ravindran, is also on the list, with Rs 3,600 crore in wealth. 

Zomato’s Deepinder Goyal, Flipkart’s Sachin Bansal, Amod Malviya, Vaibhav Gupta and Sujeet Gupta from Udaan, Nithin Kamath from Zerodha, Vu Technologies’ Devita Saraf and Rivigo’s Deepak Garg were the others on the list. 

The average wealth of self-made entrepreneurs under 40 was Rs 4,200 crore. 

Devita Saraf and Divya Gokulnath were the only women on the list. 22 women under the age of 40 feature in the overall list, with a representation going up by 12%.

The overall list put Mukesh Ambani as the richest Indian, with a total fortune of Rs 3.8 lakh crore. The list showed that the Reliance Industries (RIL) Chairman's wealth increased by 3%.
