OYO, one of India’s largest hospitality players has announced its foray into workspaces. Led by Rohit Kapoor, CEO, New Real Estate Businesses, OYO Workspaces will be a fully controlled workspaces solutions provider.

OYO’s foray to workspaces comes after it took over Innov8. OYO Workspaces will function under two coworking brands Powerstation and Workflo. Powerstation will offer workspaces for small and medium scale business, while Workflo is budget-friendly, functional co-working solution catering to the aspirations of a rising India.

At the time of launch, OYO Workspaces is all set to open the doors to its 21+ workspaces, with 15,000+ seats across 10+ cities in India. Of these, Innov8 is currently spread across 6 cities of Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon Bengaluru, Chandigarh and Mumbai, with 16 centres hosting over 6000 employees of brands like Swiggy, Paytm, Pepsi, Nykaa, OLX, Lenskart, amongst others. Powerstation has one centre in Gurgaon with over a 1000 seats and Workflo has set up four centres across NCR, Hyderabad and Bangalore with a hosting capacity of over 1500 seats already.

Starting at introductory prices of Rs 7,999 and Rs 6,999 per seat respectively, OYO Workspaces aims to expand its presence to over 50 centres across India by the end of 2019.

According to a statement from the company, co-working spaces is a $20 bn business opportunity in India by 2020, presenting a massive opportunity for OYO to leverage its capabilities and create a dominant brand in this industry.

Key amenities offered in every OYO Workspace centre include high speed Wi-Fi via Leased Line Internet / Internet as per fair internet usage policy, breakout zones, unlimited tea, coffee and fresh vitamin water from the pantry, 24x7 air conditioning and access to your office, access to other OYO Workspaces centres, free access to all community events and networking events in the centre, among others.
