The first single from Oru Adaar Love, 'Maanikya Malaraya Poovi', turned out to be a chartbuster and the talk of the town. The song featured Priya Prakash Varrier and her wink in it went viral among the netizens. The song turned out to be a chartbuster and Priya’s popularity soared up.

Recently, another single from the album, 'Freak Penne', was released and it has gone viral as well. While the song managed to get close to 5 million views within hours of its release, the number of ‘dislikes’ on Youtube has also been going up.

On this, the film’s director Omar Lulu, speaking to the Times of India had said, “We welcome both negative and positive comments. I am extremely happy that the song is the number 1 trending video on YouTube in just 20 hours of its release. If the first song took 20 hours to cross one million views, Freak Penne crossed 2.5 million views in the same duration.”

There has also been talks about the lyrics have no meaning. To this, the director has said, “It is a full-length rap song with innovative visuals. It has the tempo of a Bollywood song and is filled with beats. Our target audiences are Plus 2 students and youth. The words used as popular with them.”

Directed by Omar Lulu, the film is produced by Ousepachan Vaalakuzhy under the banner Ousepachan Movie House. Reports are that it is a campus entertainer that will be a treat to watch for the youngsters.

The film has a bevy of newbies in pivotal roles and that includes Roshan Abdul Rahoof, Noorin Shereef, Siyadh Shajahan, Priya Warrier and Michelle Ann Daniel. While the director himself is in charge of the story, the screenplay has been penned by Sarang Jayaprakash and Lijo Panadan. Shaan Rahman has composed music for this venture with Sinu Sidharth cranking the camera and Achu Vijayan editing it.
